MEDIUM NODESTHEORY
A speculative physics framework proposing that matter arises from localized energy nodes within an underlying medium.

Standing on the Shoulders of Giants
Nikola Tesla's vision of a resonant universe — energy transmitted through a medium, matter shaped by vibration — forms the philosophical foundation of Medium Nodes Theory.
"Tesla understood that the universe is not made of matter — it is made of energy, vibration, and frequency. Medium Nodes Theory is the mathematical and engineering extension of that insight."

Jeremy Spinks — Founder & Chief Theorist — Cymatic Plasma Engineering
Jeremy Spinks is the originator of Medium Nodes Theory — a speculative physics framework proposing that matter arises from localized, self-reinforcing energy nodes within an underlying medium. Drawing on cymatics, plasma physics, and resonance engineering, Jeremy has filed 241+ provisional USPTO patents spanning propulsion, energy generation, materials science, and beyond.
What is Medium Nodes Theory?
What is the Medium?
The Medium is a hypothetical dynamic field substrate — not empty space, but an active, structured environment capable of sustaining wave propagation, resonance, and localized energy configurations. It is the canvas upon which all physical phenomena are proposed to emerge.
What is Matter?
In MNT, matter is not a fundamental 'thing' but a stable, self-sustaining energy node — a localized region where the medium's oscillatory energy has achieved resonant equilibrium. Mass, charge, and spin are proposed to be emergent properties of node geometry and energy density.
Medium as Substrate
A dynamic field medium underlies all physical phenomena, capable of wave propagation and resonant structure formation.
Nodes as Matter
Stable, localized energy concentrations (nodes) are proposed as the fundamental basis of observable matter.
Emergence Principle
Gravity, mass, and particle properties emerge from medium dynamics rather than being intrinsic fundamental quantities.
Matter as Localized Energy
Mass is not matter. It is localized energy trapped in the medium.
ε_osc ∝ |φ|²Oscillatory Energy
The internal phase rotation — spinning arrows of the field. Energy stored in the rhythmic spin of the medium's oscillatory modes. The vibrational heartbeat of the node.
ε_grad ∝ |∇φ|²Gradient Energy
The cost of steep walls around the localized lump. Energy stored in spatial gradients confines the node like a potential barrier at its boundary.
ε_pot ∝ V(φ)Potential Energy
Nonlinear focusing — the self-trapping potential that prevents dispersion and uncontrolled collapse. Creates the stable, localized well that holds the node together.
Total Node Energy
E_node = ∫ (ε_osc + ε_grad + ε_pot) dVThis integral is finite because φ → 0 far away. That finite, localized pocket is the node.
Node Rest Mass (Speculative)
m_node = E_node / c²Node rest mass relation (speculative). The speculative part is what E_node is — localized field energy proposed as the origin of invariant rest mass.
The Whirlpool Analogy
A whirlpool is not made from a new substance. It is an organized, persistent pattern of motion within water. Similarly, Medium Nodes Theory proposes that a particle may be an organized, localized pattern within an underlying field. The node's energy would include its internal oscillation, spatial gradients, and nonlinear confinement. When a whirlpool loses its organized motion, the whirlpool structure disappears, although the water remains. In the MNT analogy, if a localized field node lost the conditions that sustained it, its particle-like structure could disperse back into the surrounding field.
Note: A whirlpool is only a visual analogy for organized motion. It is not a model of relativistic particle mass. If the node has a valid relativistic energy–momentum four-vector, its invariant rest mass is m_node = E_node / c² in its rest frame.
Gravity as Medium Deformation
MNT proposes that gravitational attraction is not a fundamental force but an emergent consequence of how stable energy nodes deform the surrounding medium field.
Node Formation
A stable energy node forms within the medium, concentrating energy in a localized region.
Medium Deformation
The node's energy density creates a gradient deformation in the surrounding medium field — analogous to spacetime curvature.
Node Guidance
Other nodes moving through the deformed medium are guided along gradient paths toward regions of higher deformation.
Gravity Emerges
The observed gravitational attraction between masses emerges from this medium-mediated node guidance mechanism.
